Each month, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur whips up a wonderfully elegant and delicious afternoon tea in their expansive but cosy Lobby Lounge. And they do it with the delightful (optional) add-on of cocktails and bubbles, which I love!  The mix of culinary treats varies per the Tea’s theme but Chef de Patisserie Adrian Gan always ensures they are on point — both from a quality standpoint and by simply being decadently mouth-watering.  I’ve been to Shangri-La’s Tea twice now and I always find the mix of savoury to sweet treats to be just right.  It’s a perfect way to spend a relaxed afternoon with friends, the one you love, or even with your laptop as I do.

This month was something truly special because high tea was in commemoration of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and aptly named “Pink Afternoon Tea”.
